Located under the rooftop of a narrow 17th century building at the very core of the city, this 40m2 flat is perfect for a romantic week-end as well as a family trip! It is designed to comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of 4 people. It is made up of a nice living room featuring a dining area, an open-plan kitchen equipped with everything you might need during your stay, a living area fitted with a big sofa bed (bed for two people with 20 cm mattress), an armchair, a leather stool, a steamer trunk, a flat-screen television and a WIFI internet connection. In the living room, there is a also a mezzanine featuring two matress beds and it is accessible with a ladder. There is also a quite large bedroom with a double bed and a small bathroom featuring a toilet, a washbasin and a shower. It's all decorated in a kind of romantic, shabby chic inspired style. The nearest metro station is Saint Michel, served by line 4 as well as two RER lines, that is just 100 metres from the apartment and provides quick and easy transport all over the city as well as to the main airports and Versailles. In the area surrounding the flat and just opposite the building there is a wide variety of shops, cafeterias, pubs and restaurants for a really authentic Parisian experience. Located in the heart of the Quartier Latin just a short stroll from the River Seine means you can really enjoy the charms and many attractions of the French capital in a simple and quite unique way. it is close to all the places of interest : Notre Dame, which is a 4 minute walk, L'Ile de la Cité, the Town Hall, Châtelet, the Marais District, The Luxembourg Garden... The nearest metro stations are Saint Michel, served by line 4, and Cluny/La Sorbonne, served by line 10, as well as two RER lines, that is just 100 metres from the apartment and provides quick and easy transport all over the city as well as to the main airports and Versailles. The streets around Rue St Severin are packed with restaurants, and Boulevard St Germain and Boulevard St Michel are full of shops, bookstores, cinemas, supermarkets, and you can even find a M&S Food store and a fresh produce market at St Germain. There is a night bus stop pretty close. The only inconvenience of this flat is that it is on the 6th floor without a lift. Still, it makes it the only flat on this floor and therefore it is pretty quiet, and you can't hear any noises from the neighbours bellow! I would like to swap my flat one week or a few days in September or at week-ends.
